Hey all,
I am having a bit of an emergency.
Our red is out on a 2 week rental and on the first shoot day the camera is overheating because the fans are not spinning "at all". Doesn't matter what the fan settings are.
I am out of the country at the moment on my honeymoon of all places and have no way of eyeballing the problem myself. The crew have tried a firmware rebuild with no success.
I have read of a few people having fans die.. we have never had this problem before.
They have already rented another body for today as they got sick of trying to fix the problem.
RED .. HELP!!!!
I am in no phone reception land in the middle of indonesia and about to lose 2 weeks rental!!!
Any ideas???
