EDIT: this open for me at 800, hence the more than usual artifacting. going to 400 was better. still very nice, very high tray!!

The compression sucks no doubt.
I will request for higher resolution outputs come monday, and it just came out a few days ago. So i am sure there will be better versions of compression out soon.

Some details on the shoot.

2 REDs 1 build 15 & 1 build 16 because we had problems with a 2nd camera and had to trade out so it was traded to a build 15.
Sucked but it was the only option at that moment in time.
That made Color correction and transcodeing that much more work.
RED lens 50-150
and
Ziess superspeeds if memory severs me right.
4 RED drives 22 CF cards.

Two 17 hour days
and
One 10 hour day.
1 day of trouble shooting in post.

This video does not do justice on how talented Janelle Monae is.
I have never seen a girl dance as awesome as her. Especially at hour 13 of shoot she still had 110% juice.
She reminds me of Michael Jackson when he was the Moon Walker in the 80s and early 90s
