I am sure this has been covered and covered and covered, but here it goes.

    The red-drive, recording at 4 k = 2 to 3 hours, at 24fps, yes?
(if i am wrong, maybe stop reading post now:nerd: )

Lets call it 2 hours for the heck of it.

Now if I want to shot 2 k 2:1 at 120 FPS, does this put me at 1/2 hour record time, or 1 hour record time?

I looked around, but could not find a chart, or other info.

I did try the search function here at reduser, but came up empty.

Thanks for any and all help.

There are additional variables involved in the equation.

For example, consider the storage requirements for 60 minutes of the following:

    4K 2:1 RC28 at 24fps = 82.69 GB
    4k 2:1 RC36 at 24fps = 97.88 GB
    4k 16:9 RC28 at 24fps = 94.50 GB
    4k 16:9 RC36 at 24fps = 113.06 GB

    2K 2:1 RC28 at 24fps = 21.94 GB
    2k 2:1 RC36 at 24fps = 23.62 GB
    2k 16:9 RC28 at 24fps = 25.31 GB
    2k 16:9 RC36 at 24fps = 27.84 GB

So to answer your question, 3 hours of 4K 2:1 at 24fps RC36 takes up 293.62 GB. You could shoot 2K 2:1 RC36 120fps for nearly 2.5 hours because 2K 2:1 RC36 at 59.94fps is 147 GB and you simply have to double that for 120fps.

This information care of the 4KStore Module of iSee4k Free iPhone app.

Hey Caesar, our DP made a camera overview doc that shows how much time and storage the varies frame sizes and Redcode work out to be. Here's a link if you're interested:

Around page 33 is where all that info starts. Hope it helps.
