  1. #1 Trying to batch generate QT refence movies with RedRushes...Help
I've shot some footage without the "Make QT" checked in the camera.
So I'm trying to batch process the day's footage through RedRushes using "Make all wrappers" under the QT wrappers drop down menu.

Everything is working fine _F,_H,_M,_P QT refs are being created except RedRushes also makes a self-contained Prores quicktime as well which is quite large (85mg for a 263MB .R3D file). I'm trying to save space and avoid the Prores.

How can I create just the small 8KB ref files only.
    Thanks for any help!!!

    Haha...nevermind.
I was clicking the start button which isn't necessary. Just drag down to "make all wrappers" and voila! Easy as pie.
Basically I didn't realize there is no rendering...so quick to generate these ref files it caught me off guard.
Well, hopefully this post will at least help someone else in the future!
    Cheers,

There seems to be a bug which causing RedRushes not to create proxies? I tried but in vain found after one hour that its bug. Still unable to create proxies from Avid media RAID connected via SAS.
    Thanks

Make sure there are no non-alphanumeric characters (except for _ ) in your path. That's usually the first thing that screws up command line (RR uses RL to do the work).
