My Build16 R3D footage is working okay but when I try to convert B17 footage then I can add the clips, but when I click start it doesn't seem to read the content and total frame count says "1" instead of actual length and doesn't convert anything.

    Is this the case?

    Interesting...

RedRushes works great for me w/ Build 17 footage.

    I'm using 10.5.4
    Quicktime 7.5
    FCP 6.0.4
    Redcode 3.5
    RR 3.5

I tried to work on the latest OS related software and you have it working with older versions, so I will try it on my 10.5.4 boot, too.

    Thanks for the info.

Opps, I should clarify my software versions like you.

    Mac Pro 3.2Ghz 4 core x2
    OS 10.5.5
    QT 7.5.5
    RR 3.45
    RED QT codec 3.5

I have seen build 16 clips which won't convert in Red Rushes and show a duration of 1 frame, so I don't think your problem is build 17 specific. Unfortunately I never did work out what was different about those clips, and just had to do them one at a time in Red Alert.
