Buy the OCT-19 mount from Cinevate, send to me, I add my intermediary unit, clean and lube the Cinevate mount, and test. $500 plus shipping. Works with Lomo lenses in OCT-19 mount except those few that have brackets on the rear that would interfere with RED's adjustable collar. There are about 8 of these in the field now.
I also have a Leica R mount prototype for the RED.
Added 3 mounts to the original post that I hadn´t known about. Thanks!
Am especially curious to learn more about the Khmuse one - are there any tests available. Will there be a second batch of them?
Hey Martin,
K-Muse mount definitely voids warranty. There was talk of Kevin updating it but there has been silence for several months now. Doesn't look good...
Good job Martin. I like solutions. This Thread is a great one!
Andy has released a video of his mount/knob in action. http://www.andylesniak.com/movies/red/focusdemo.mov
Also on http://www.andylesniak.com/movies/red/focus1.mov you can see the focus in action.
BTW, thanks for all the positive feedback :)
Update: Jarred just gave full blessing to the visual product's BNCR mount: http://205.234.135.241/forum/showthread.php?t=21106
Martin, Brian from Actionproducts has a Leica mount in the works: post #3 http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=17249
Updated the Birger situation; slight updates on the other mounts.
Alesniak said he would start offering dumb Canon mounts in the very near future, possibly already today or tomorrow. So far he has had request from just a handful of people for this non-electronic version.
