  1. #1 RED RUSHES- Can it be trusted?
    Hey guys,
Quick question. From what I have read RED Rushes is used more for proxy quicktimes/quicktimes/tmp renders/etc. Being that it can also export DPX and tiff image sequences- have you guys been using it as your final render from the capture footage? I have been using RED Alert! and RedCine so far- but never RED Rushes. I know there are a lot more options in the former two programs when it comes to exporting- which is the other reason I ask. I am doing comparative tests on my own but I wanted to see what others had to say.

    Thanks.

RedAlert and REDline use the same code to render dpx, tiff, and QT.
    RedRushes uses REDline to render.

Deanan, as I asked before.... would it be possible to build in RR a function which checks after rendering, if every file was processed? The greatest thing would be if it checks if the length of the clips also fit.... would be great....

Great. So it should be trusted for delivery if we were to use redrushes to render out the dpx. We'll test it as well just to make sure.

    Thanks!
