    Good job Lucas.

Autodesk trying to sue you guys because you have twirl dials and yes/no boxes is frikkin' ridiculous. If they feel they need that to maintain a competitive advantage, then they are f***ed.

Now how about storing color settings in the RedCine XML file, either as values or a BLOB... pretty please?

...and a smaller icon option for the Library view?

    ;)

    ridiculous lawsuit anyway.....

if they lose the court battle they'll probably offer to buy Assimilate...

you must be doing something right to catch there attention...

I hope Assimilate wins... this kind of lawsuit is no good for the end users.

If they feel they need that to maintain a competitive advantage, then they are f***ed.
Perhaps they are suing because there is potentially high upside if they win (mostly for the lawyers). And if they lose, they get to harass a competitor and tie up their time. Then again, they could be giving Assimilate some free publicity. (Heck, if I were in Assimilate's position I would thank Autodesk for the compliment.)

    ---
On the other hand, what's up with the tax evasion? Both companies are incorporated in places they don't have offices in (e.g. Autodesk in New Brunswick, Assimilate in Delaware). Of course, these are companies with responsibilities to their shareholders/backers so they arguably should reduce their taxes as much as possible.
