    Hey guys,

just shot a new short film on the RED called "The Outlaw Emmett Deemus and the Porno Queen" with the Acadamy Award nominated Larry Hankin. Yes, it's a comedy. :clown2: Cinematography by the award winning DP Ricardo Jacques Gale www.ricardogale.com out of Los Angeles.

Here is a link to the trailer: http://www.enigmafactory.com/emmett.html

Let me know what you think!

Thanks for taking a look! :nuke:

Keep your eye on the prize,
    Alex

Great looking trailer, a dirty old man and a porn star, can't go wrong.

But why no dialogue/sound bites/voice in the trailer?? Drives me nuts when I see this, it's a disconnect from the characters, their physical presence lessens, plus I can't imagine the type of vocal performance I'm going to expect, etc...

My two cents... I can't get excited by a story if I can't hear a sample of their voices... how else am I going to know if these actors are going to be decent are not?
Plus its a great way to tell more of the story... All I know now is that there's an old man and a girl, and the old man is a little worse for wear... basically the most surface parts of what the 'soul' of the project might be..
When I hear their voice or some dialogue, I get story, I get a sense of the direction, the writing, the quality of the acting, the depth of the performance... on and on.

Thanks for your thoughts. It was only suppose to be a teaser trailer and meant to get you excited about the project. It's a 6 min short so it's hard to do a full trailer and not give away everything.

    Thanks again for your thoughts!

    Alex

Of course I'm no one important here, but I still like the quality of the images.
