Our red files look nice and warm, I import them using log and transfer, and they end up looking overexposed and washed out. Not all of the shots, but just
a few of the outside ones. Any ideas?

Make a nice grade in RA, save it and use it on import.
I gave up using L&T in June. At that time, the RED L&T rplugin required an upgrade to the newest QT. On install, the gamma of all shots brought in thru L&T were wrong. Spoke with RED tech and they said this was an Apple issue with QT and they could do nothing about it. Others have suggested compensating for it via gamma corrections in RA, etc. To me, that negates the usefullness of L&T.
For now, we rely on proxy-crimson-redcine workflows; or RA, Redrushes conversion methods.

Yes, I switched to RR as well and really like it.
Log & what? :)
