Red Seminars Workshops or Classes?

I am completely new to Red and wondered if anyone knows of any good seminars or workshops or classes in the Los Angeles area where i can learn how to work the camera and understand post production with red more.

There are some very good courses on RED production and post at fxphd. I took one before taking delivery of my camera and it made using it much easier. They also have a bunch of other classes that could be useful.

If I find one I'll defiantly let you know... I have heard that DePaul University is getting a RED cam so perhaps a RED workflow class will come out of that...

hah. that is where i go to school man. i was considering talking to the head of CDM (the digital cinema college) and becoming like the schools student RED representative. or something along those lines. wouldnt that be sweet?

Hah yea that would be pretty good... I go to school there too, did you go to that Digital Cinema Summit thing a week or two ago? Matt Irvine said they had lined up a RED for the cage... so hopefully a class will be coming with it.

Birns and Sawyer also has seminars on RED and post from time to time, I'm not sure when the next scheduled one is, but I'll make sure to post when I find out.
