Has any mention been made by the Red team on Technical back up?
It does concern me that if I need a repair done to the camera I may have to ship it back to the states. Which wouldn't be very practical.
And if a camera goes down on a shoot how fast can i get it fixed/replaced.

An approved list of engineers would be a great thing to start thinking about.

I beleive it has been stated earlier that the good people at RED will make deals to handle local repairs (where they see fit). No details yet.

I will keep in touch with anyone owning a RED in my region.

If anything malfunctions I hope I don´t have to ship the RED half around the world myself, but if that is what it takes, and if RED is well staffed and eager it might be the best option still (except from all the potential paperwork)
