  1. #1 Scorsese shoots RED w/ Ellen Kuras
Earlier today, director Martin Scorsese began shooting his newest feature length documentary with three of our RED ONE cameras and two of our technicians - shooting 4K 16:9 Redcode 36 on build 17 - under the helm of lovely and talented Ellen Kuras.

I don't know about you guys - but I think this is pretty damn cool.

I have not had a chance to ask the producers what information about the project is public or not - so this is all I want to post for now - but I thought some of you would be as excited as we are about it.

Ellen is super cool - we'll bust our asses for her any day.

I'd say that is quite an endorsement right there. Wish I had the opportunity to be on that one. Mr Scorsese is one of my favorites. If you get stuck and you need a tech, you have my number. :-)
