I am a producer/editor based on the Gold Coast, Australia who is starting to prep for our second feature, which is to be shot around South East Queensland in 2009. Our first feature was shot on DV and edited on Final Cut Pro. Our second feature, while still being cut on final cut pro, will be shot with the new Red One camera. Needless to say, the jump from a DV based project to working with the Red One cameras and workflow is a little daunting at times. So as a result, the production is looking for a Brisbane based Red One Consultant to come on board to advise on the areas of production and post-production. In particular, this advisor will quite involved in the Online/Conform and Grading Process. The production is set to start principle photography in Feb 2009 on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, with post expected to be carried through till middle of the year. Anyone who has worked with the Red on a longform project would be an advantage, but at the end of the day anyone who has worked with the Red and its workflow would be a great help to us.
