the one on the far left looks a bit softened?

RED handles the highlight roll off nicely.

no filter, only ND.
no sharpening in redcine.
as i was alone and red on shoulder, there may be some softness because of wrong focus sometimes, but urgh, after 30 minutes walking with mattebox and complete red-kit ... it was heavy ... :waaa:
but it´s always a good feeling what you can do with the raw-files ...
no black spot, even in the moved images, when sun is quite directly to the camera.
maybe the sun was not powerful enough and quite soft at 3:00 pm - we have winter in germany and darkness falls in at 4:30-5.00pm
but i´.am very pleased with it and the roll off

I'm wondering how the Red perform in recording damn or evening lighting? I mean dim lighting with low contrast?
