hi all,
this is the rig 3d by P+S Technik with two Red One's, that is a viable solution for 3D productions?

P&S is gonna have to be far more aggressive with its pricing it wants to keep up.
Very interesting rig indeed! It does seem it will offer 3D to RED ONE even though with one stop less.
Thanks Marco for posting. Hope to see here more posts from you.
Just for your information mates, this portuguese young fellow is one of the best national experts in 3D.
According his information, it's possible to use this rig for HDR for motion pictures. His theory. But it can work it out. I'm waiting to see. It would be something really new. Sanjin, might you add your RED to our testing? And be the link with them (P+S Technik) ?
I counted 4 at NAB chuck.. And i am sure I missed some.
:)

But the P+S is the only one currently available for sale or rent, as far as I could tell...can you name the three others that are available? I could use this info.
SwissRig www.swissrig.com Currently for sale, but built to order (deposit required). There is one in LA that is available for production. I don't think you can rent it, but you can hire it out with it's crew. Contact Andrew at Broadcast Exchange @ 310-398-0802.
I'd post an image, but I apparently don't have access to the 'Files Upload Center'...![]()
I think the SwissRig doesn't work well for bigger cameras. I saw this solution often in France, but always with smaller cameras. The RED is big so to be able to tilt down the camera, you have to move the lower camera far to the front which adds a lot of weight you have to counterbalance with "sandbacks".
You can rent the Paradisefx 3D rig with or without Cameras and Angenieux 15-40 matched zooms.
