    the Tone Mapped HDR stuff looks a little ugly to me...just looks like solarized and/or posterized imagery.

    the other bits were quite nice tho especially the swing tilt short focus stuff that makes everything look like miniatures.

    IMO, cinematography is about placing shadows too. And the timelapse video shows classic tone mapping artifacts (halos)... they don't look right. Some of the HDR stuff looks very painting-like (a good thing)... but even many paintings have shadows and they never have tone mapping artifacts. (I don't mean to be a douche for this negative criticism... my apologies if anybody is offended.)

    On the other hand, his other video work looks great!! I think many DPs would be happy with that work on their reel.
