Forgive the crude drawing. The proportions and everything are way off I'm sure. Anyway the idea is this:
What if there was a module that the Brain dropped into with a nice cutout that included I/O's and the data Recorder.
It would come around the bottom of the brain and have rosettes on each side and provisions for lightweight rod support.
It could have a mounting point for A V-lock battery plate at the back for Bricks.
It could have multiple CF slots at the back as well as provisions for alternate recording methods.
I was also thinking there should be a smaller Redmote that would be relatively thin and fit right next to the brain (it wouldn't need to be wireless).
I/O's would be on the dumb side of course.
I understand this might kill the idea that all modules would work with all cameras, but there could be one for Scarlet and one for Epic, but there might be a way to make one for both.
Maybe the whole thing could be a little more skeleton like as well, and still use different modules for i/o's and recording.
Anyway the idea was to come up with a way to have everything intergrated together in one nice snug package. It could be a terrible idea, who knows.
