As I mention above if you have an 18-50 but wish you had an 18-85 Pro series lens, here is your chance.

Ideally I would accept the 18-50 as the premium, and you get the 18-85 at cost without the wait.

Of course, I will entertain all offers including rentals, and outright purchases.

    Thanks

That's quite a premium! Good luck with that one....

BTW, what serial did you have?

Vladimir is smoking something. I turned down a chance to buy a brand new 18-85 for a $500 premium. Those pups will be selling for a couple of thousand less in a few months.

On the other hand, this is a lot cheaper than renting an equivalent lens for a few months

    Hi,

The used value of an 18-50 is probably not that high, it's not such a stupid deal for anybody who needs a lens today, if you could get $1500 as well it would be a very good deal IMHO.

I've been trying to sell an unused RED 18-50m for a couple of months. Bought it for $6.5k and now people are offering $3.5k!! Hurts......

    Cheers,
    Mark.

Have you seen what a Sigma 18-50 goes for second hand?

$3.5K is probably about the right price,I bought my 18-50 a couple of months ago and paid £2K GDP which was roughly the same when the exchange rate was better.
I would expect the used price to fall even further.
