I was recently told by a friend that Red has invited a bunch of DP's to their place to do some extensive lens testing. Can this be confirmed or denied?

Independent RED One tests with a variety of lenses are on the way...
When I get RED #8, there will immediately be field testing, then studio testing in Los Angeles with a wide range of cine, 35mm still, S16, and B4 lenses. The testing team will be widely-experienced and diverse in knowledge of cinematography, videography, digital photography, and post workflow. The results will be posted here on RED User and published elsewhere on the Web and in magazines.
Looking forward to it!
LOL!!! No doubt, I really want to pitch in with several days of behind the scenes shots of Gibby and Ken working hard for their promotional use when I get my RED (if Steve and Ken would let me...). Whatever I can offer that is of help to them, but watching them work will help me as well and they can pick apart my footage of them...
quick question on lens any reason why clairmonts or century swing and tilt lens should give any problem when the great red camera lands on my doorstep

I can't think of any reason why a swing-shift or a tilt-focus lens wouldn't work on the RED camera versus any other PL-mount camera.
Thanks David...do you of anyone using a the arri preston focus pull system to control the swing or tilt movement on the lens so i could pull focus and change the soft area within a shot...an idea i had wondered if it was possible
