    Has anyone got a link to some sample stills of what the DSMC scarlet is capable of producing?

    I want to know if RED is really the DSLR killer the market hype is talking about.

    Also, the 617 is predicted for 2010 at 55 000 $ US?

    I'm in no ways a videographer, no clue about that field but what I do is commercial fashion photography and am wondering if we should sell our phase 1 kits to reinvest in this new technology...if it is what it's promising to be.

    No Scarlet/Epic is not a DSLR killer. That will be the next camera, Crimson:)

    If you need to be convinced then buy the DSLR and I'll buy Scarlet then we will compare notes...
