We are renting our Red and would like to provide Hard Drives for transporting footage
What Hard Drives would you guys recommend?
And how do you guys do it, Sell them as an expendable? Get a Core Charge or Deposit?

    Thanks!~

I would say that if you just need to back things up, the Western Digital My Book is a great value. You can get a terabyte for $200, and it can connect to a MacBook Pro through eSata, which is much faster than Firewire 800.

I would advise you to be careful of the My Books - they have a horrible tendency to go into sleep mode and crash the Mac if they are not woken up properly. For the geeky, Ive found buying a bare HD and putting into a eSATA case is by far better, and a bit cheaper sometimes also.
