This is part of the reason I will be producing a DVD on Red Production. I know it's not the same as playing with the gear yourself, but it could be supremely helpful to see some of these things in action on a set and watch someone who just got a Red (me) go through the paces with it.

I agree and look forward to ALL the material I can get my mitts on... including yours Shawn. Good luck and knock it out!... I am waiting... so are a couple of thousand others...

OT--BTW... One side project that I will have will be doing Profiles on as many RED reservation holders as possible... one reason is because I have really enjoyed the forum exp., it's members and look forward to meeting them. While being a crossover shooter, I would love to tell the stories of those who jumped on the wagon first---who are they, how this instrument will impact their craft---their creativity, etc. and make them available to all of us. But this will have to work in conjunction with another show that will take me all over the U.S. and the world... first overseas stop... Portugal... hmmm who could that be?....

i volunteer to host a showroom on behalf of RED. go ahead and ship me one of everything, and i'll be happy to tastefully display them in our retail store front. i'll host parties a la tupperware and start a RED accessory mult-level marketing arm. where you get a Red Dodge Viper (uh wait scratch that Viper, bad idea) we'll say RED Chrysler Minivan and a fresh pair of Oakleys for every $1,000,000 in sales. oh, the people we'll meet!
