    Anyone knows a good TV that really supports 1080 24P with out pulldown? I mean from personal expirience, connected to a mojo dx and working, not from the tv brochure, I have tried some TV's that specificly support 1080 24p but they all expect 60HZ and not 48HZ or 24P, all I checked have implemented a pulldown.

    Thanks?

    You won't find many consumer type monitors that do native 24psF or 24p. The Dreamcolor can do it over the DVI or HDMI from the hardware and in 10 bits.

    MichaelP, nice to see you recommend the Dreamcolor. Do we need to get a Mojo DX just to *monitor* 24p HD without tearing, or could we get away with:

    1. 2nd graphics card (or 2nd monitor on primary graphics card) -> Dreamcolor
    2. Blackmagic card with video desktop feature (sends desktop to monitor out) -> Dreamcolor
    3. Matrox MXO -> Dreamcolor

    Or maybe just go to a consumer HDTV and accept 60hz, but without tearing? Or create a custom 48hz mode (SwitchResX on Mac, PowerStrip/ReClock on PC, and sometimes 48hz is just natively supported on PC) and use a consumer TV that accepts that...

    Avid really needs a cheap, certified-to-work or Avid-branded 24p HD monitoring option. It's on of the biggest weaknesses of the product right now IMHO.

    Thanks

    I like the Pro Series Panasonic 50" plasma, which supports all formats including 1080/24p:

    It comes with component YUV/RGB inputs and 2xHDMI, but you might need the optional SDI board:

    And if you shop around, you should find a much better price, like this:
