No more kludges to get camera audio. Audio support via the SDK is here, which means Red footage is finally as easy to do post as easy as all other HD+ cameras that benefit from the CineForm workflow.
For PC users runing CineForm NEO 4K or Prospect 4K with you favorite video tools, all you need to replace is the R2CF converison module. Here is the new R2CF distribution: download http://www.miscdata.com/red/R2CFv180.zip. Unzip the contents into: C:\Program Files\CineForm\Tools. To use this you must have NEO 4K or Prospect 4K installed on your Windows OS (trial version also works.) Consider this to be beta, as we only got the SDK drop last night. The Mac update to NEO 4K and ReMaster will follow shortly.
