Right now Im running Dual Quad 3Ghz Mac PRO w Adobe Prod Bundle/R3D Plugin on 16GB RAM and 3x500 GB HD SAS drives. I am for the most part styling and the plugin is working fantastically as long as I don't move to fast. (drop, drop, cut cut, import, import kind of thing). From time to time I still get the unsightly stutter and have to start/stop and it still does the occasional skip frame. I am still running the stock ATI Radeon HD2600 that came installed. Can anyone provide their experience with ATI / NVIDIA boards. Curious to see if there really is a "kick a$$" improvement if I were to spring for a entry pro Quadro or the cheaper top of the line Geforce 8800GT for the Mac!!
