Petition for 4.5K

Hello.. how about a little petition for us RED one lovers who want 4.5K soon :)

ps: after reading some responses, i realized typed words can be read in so many ways.. that i better refraze it correcly: imagine me saying it with a smile of anticipation guys, not with a face of disgust . i loove my RED! Im just excited about 4.5k.. i never liked waiting for midnight on xmas eve hehehe

So by petition i mean, who else is with me in needing some news and a date of release for 4.5k.. buaaah.. i wana i wana i wana..

Amongst all the stuff Red is doing right now I'd say this is quite far at the bottom of there to-do list. You can get as many signatures as you can, but they have alot on their plate. I'm not being mean, I'm just saying that what your asking for is a bit hard for a company that has only just made 5k alive, and yet they to make it to 28k in under 2 years time.

In my opinion your better off waiting for epic x.

4.5k gives about a 20% instant performance increase (in that sensor surface area is 20% larger, than 4k, at 2.30:1.
That's not to be sneezed at if you're shooting for a theatrical release, and maybe worth sacrificing the look-around area in the viewfinder, for some kinds of shots especially.
Anyone shooting for theatrical release right now could be forgiven for feeling disappointed that 4.5k has been promised, for months, and now is off the agenda, it seems.
I'll sign the petition.
