I need a system to control iris, zoom, focus and start / stop, it must
be on cable, is there anyone who knows a system that is good.
There will be about. 50-60m cable between camera and control...

    Thanks

Preston, Scorpio, Arri, C-motion, expect about 35.000 to 45.000 euro for a full set as you request. Cable is possible, but not very handy for these long distances (60 m) they are all wireless.
Rental in every decent camera-rental house

All of the above are good. You don't need to buy, just rent them for the job.

Bartech is also a very nice system and very reasonably priced. I've been quite happy with mine.

Sure, Bartech is a good system, I have one too, but it controls only one motor and the guy needs a full lens + camera control.

In any case, 60 meters is a lot of ground to cover and it really depends on the environment.
Most systems (except Bartech) work on the 2.4 Ghz band, which is saturated with all kinds of communication signals, wifi, etc.
So I doubt this distance can be reached (reliable) with all systems, in a city or such.

I did a test once in a rural part in Asia with my Preston system, we could control from 300 meters.

    Not true.
You can get as many channels of control with a Bartech as you need.
They make a slider interface for either iris or zoom, and they make a dog-bone looking bracket that holds the handsets together. Just put each hand unit on a different frequency.
It's a bit clunky because you then have a receiver on the camera for each channel (so three if you really need FIZ all at the same time) So not an ideal full-up solution but it works fine. And again, it's cheap.
I would certainly agree that any of the high-end systems would be great (Preston, Arri, or C-Motion) and I believe any of them can be hard-wired.
    Tot, best of luck!
    Cheers,
    Harry

Yes, I have 5 wireless systems, but I have a diving task on 40m of water, so it will have to be on cable, unless the arri or ? hafe done a system that works under water :-)

I think I just use my cmotion, unless someone knows a better system?
