    Looks like I only have one year to save up for a new Kuro... Maybe I'm going to miss out on the Kuro.

    I when through a number of TVs before I found the first generation Kuro...

    All the other TVs I bought or tried where very unsatisfactory. The Kuro can be set up to look really really close to a large crt BVMD. What is depressing is that people obviously don't want good pictures. They like loseing shadow/highlight detail in a cloudy, edges enahanced, blue tinged, badly scaled, disgusting mess of noise reduction dressed up as HD.

    Against this brutal truth some of the discussions about image seem .....

    Best loses again..

    Some time ago they already started to use Panasonic panels. They made only few big one models.... and now this ... nothing

    It is a shame. Expensive compared to mass market mediocrity, but cheap compared to the kind of pro broadcast gear that could match the performance.
