Audio Board Upgrade?

Any updates to the audio board upgrade plan? I've yet to receive any email nor have I read anything on this forum for quite some time on the subject.

Anyone else receive the email notice? If so, what serial number are you?

Got mine back from the factory recently. I'm in the upper 700's.

#997 got upgraded last week... quick turn-around, and extremely nice service.

I don't get it? I sent mine in to RED last week for the other reasons and just got it back. Being #1237, couldn't they have saved time and money by slipping in the upgrade while in service?

I think the audio board upgrade is done in a separate building from repairs.

I suspect that they are also trying to stick to blocks of serial numbers in sequence to prevent any conflict...
