45 Days Gone Still Waiting for all the accessories

I can't believe RED doing this, Its been already 45 days but i still don't have everything. Have the camera but i still can't do anythings, just sitting in my living room. Whenever i called they still been saying in two weeks i will get everything, but already done 6 weeks. now they can't even answer my email.

Yes i know that, Some items are backorder but there should be a time limitation. You can't just have a backorder for month and months.

Thats like, an hour, in Red time.. good things come to those who wait!

I was missing many accessories after my two year wait for delivery, and admittedly, not being alerted to this beforehand, or given the opportunity to delay delivery until the "full package" was ready, would have been better, and cheaper for my debt situation, and less frustrating.

Hopefully you have at least the ability to record to a CF as i did.. I'm not sure what 45 days entitles you to though :)

What are you missing? There are a lot of Redz in NY, maybe someone can help you and you can return the favor when they have a shoot...

I'm trying to be positive. I waited 9 months, and am still waiting for a lens, so I know the feeling. But trust me, once you get passed the frustration and have your gear, Red team, Red service and Red camera and accessories are the best deal I've encoutered in my life!

It would be better if they mention that the items are on back order when they call your number. this way you dont have to go get the finance package complete, only to realize as we did that you are unable to do any jobs with the unit that you are already paying for. From a finance aspect I am paying a loan that is not creating a return. also create a much narrower window in which to make my ROI. I have $20K outstanding that I now pay for.
