  1. #1 Scarlett workflow
    Hello all,

I'm very excited about the Scarlet camera as we all are.

I'm wondering when it's launched, will it follow the same tried and tested workflow as RED ONE?

My current and limited understanding of the RED ONE workflow is that Final Cut Pro 6 currently supports the red workflow completely. Is this true, or am I over simplifying it?

What other software is supporting it? Adobe Premiere? Would any PC software currently support RED ONE or the scarlet work flow?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Try the SEARCH function. you will find countless articles about this.

There are also threads called WORKFLOW on the mainpage.

    Happy Reading

Adobe premiere pro now supports native R3D files, thats in the CS4 suite.
That means you can just import the red files and edit away whether its Red or Scarlet material.

a word of advice, if you are building a system specifically for Scarlet, i'd wait until the specs, requirements, etc. are released.
