I can finally use my Decklink Multibridge with R3D files in CS4 and
    output 1080p25!

A big thank you to Decklink(if you´re listening!)

Oh could I ask, what project setup was this, were u in a 1k project or 2k, or you had to have 1080p project with your footage scaled to that?

    thanks

I choose the Blackmagic 1080p25 preset. Of course it doesnt play R3D realtime fullscreen, but its great for final output and monitoring on a full HD display.

You edit your movie as usual in another sequence at quarter resolution and import that.

I went out and got a new Acer with i7 chip (about $1500), installed CS4, then testing the system with Multibridge Pro right now.

Multibridge Pro seems work well with projects with its presets, but to ingest R3D in to the projects, since I'm so out with Premiere Pro (heavy FCP user), haven't been able to resize the video output to full size when I'm working with 1K.

First I set it with Blackmagic 1080 size, setting the Red tab with halfquick (with 4K footage), it won't playback smoothly. Then I switch the red source setting to quarter then the clips look shrunk in the monitor (naturally but FCP will resize it in this kind of situation with the open timeline feature).

So, my question is this then, does Premiere Pro have featue that when you set the red source to be quarter size, then dropping the clips will enlarge to 1080 frame automatic, or to be able to create a timeline matches for quarter with blackmagic as the playback device? The size setup in the sequence are locked when you choose the blackmagic preset, also, by going with RED preset won't let you choose Blackmagic as video output hardware. Does any Premiere Pro guru can solve this setting issue?

kaku: try dropping a clip on the timeline, then right mouse button and select "scale to frame size". that should do it.

    Thanks Santiago,

With that help, I got to find the scale to frame size in the clip menu to do them all. Thanks.
