I think the 24mm f2 is straight up MEDIOCRE on digital. The Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 is the way to go-either Ai or Ais.

I'll jump in as well on the disliking of the 24mm f2 for digital use - I've used it on various 35mm adapters with 1/3" and 2/3" camcorders and been seriously unimpressed...
