My ONLY gripe about my beautiful ZF set.. is the fact that the distance marks are all on the top side of the lens when mounted onto the red camera..
Maybe i can just mount my nikon mount a little more clockwise or counter clockwise (depending on where i want my first AC)in order to get the Distance markings where they are readable..BUTTTTTTTTT i would rather pay someone to just make me a collar (plastic or metal.. i dont care) that can simply fit around the current markings.. a nice, snug and perm fit. This would place numbers hopefully on both sides.. and i can just make my own hash mark to identify the position..

    Does this make sense?

    Is this possible?

cant be too much to get this done for 4-5 lenses.

Just use some tape and a marker... unless you are really keen on keeping it looking sexy. :)

Yup, just saying. You could get a jeweler (don't laugh I am not about to make a joke :)) you could have a jeweler etch them like the real marks. Ok, yea, that is not practical, so it is kind of a joke. :)

Obvious suggestion: Have you asked Duclos?

I guess he is running a business, and knows so much, has such skill, that he uses his time for things he can make a nice profit on, while putting those skills to good use, and delivering something that deserves a modest investment.

Would all the lenses be aimed properly if you spun the mount? I guess they would since they are a set.

Why not do it? It sounds like a good idea so long as there were no prongs or other things preventing it... is it a lot of work? I guess you would have to re-do the collimation... right?
