Is it a good idea using a wide-gamut LCD display for Red-One (as an external HDMI monitor)? I am thinking of wide-gamut Eizo flat panels, for example. Any idea? I don't know if their wide gamut color presentation need a computer (and an operating system and driver) to work or, the wide-gamut still works when it is only connected to Red-One.

The Red-One's manual says the HDMI output is 1280 x 720 resolution 10-bit 4:2:2 video output (720p 50.00 /59.94 Hz). Though it seems it must mention 1280 x 848. I read Eizo panels are 12bit and Adobe 1998. So perhaps they are not the right choice.

Otherwise, what would you recommend? (we are on budget.)

Thanks.
