What do you use for camera bag? Are there camera bags designed for RED?
Do you have a way to fit LCD in the bag?

here are few bags that look like they could work:
Assuming that camera is all built up, with lens, possibly with matte box.

Several of us use the Tamrac 5258 Cyberpack 8 for airline carry-on work.

For non-air travel work, I want to check out the Kata CC-197 when I'm at NAB (http://www.kata-bags.com/product.asp...&Version=video). It looks like one could keep a fully-built RED, including mounted mattebox, ready to pull out and shoot.

while not cheap, the smuggler from porta brace is a great solution. it has padded bags
for the view finder and the 18-50

Portabrace also has a new RED-specific case:

We use the PETROL PDBR-6 as a set run bag and a local travel bag between locations on busy days. It even takes 24" rods for the 24-290 Optimo .Very well made. To travel we use the KATA-HB 207 backpack for air travel. Its a life saver also very well made

Petrol bags are amazing. I can fit everything you need for the camera and the bag itself it's pretty hard on the edges. It's supposed to be water resistant too.

What I know from Kata is that they will introduce a raincover for the RED ONE. That's at least what they told me last october, so in the mean time there's maybe even more to come.

    We'll know tomorrow :)

I will stick anyway with Kata since I am their biggest fan

Banana 3 looks pretty sturdy, but it is very expensive.
    I purchased Kata CC-197 for $217: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._HDV_Case.html

On Kata website say that it would fit RED camera.
It is little bit longer - 26"
Side pocket looks little tight, but we'll see what will fit in there.
