I am considering a sale of my stablization rig, the Actioncam Red Edition.

    SOLD

    More info: http://actionproducts.ch/actioncam/red-edition.html

New this would cost you over $16,000 with cases, shipping and tax. My system is a year old but in very good, near-new condition. Is was used on a few features in 2008, but looks and works great. Comes fully equipped with AC's Explorer cases and 50lb vest.

I will entertain any offers over $10,000, cash or cashier's check. If you are in the LA area you can stop by and check it out.

Why am I selling? To afford the new RPP. Plus I don't fly a rig myself, so it makes sense.

PM me or email danblanchett [at] gmail.com.

    Thanks

I'll double check, but I got mine April 2008. I know that mine includes improvements from the initial version that came out several months prior.

According to Daryl at Action Products, the only changes to the Actioncam from my version are as follows:

    - we made the finishing matt (same colors)
    - we are using different springs now (however this is not something that needs to be updated)
    - we changed the RED monitor mount (you can update this for $68 (regular price will be $120)
    - there was a small change on the stage. However this was because of a problem we had with a later batch. The construction is the same.

Hope this makes it clear. If I can, I'll post some photos soon.

I flew this rig on its very first job. Great rig, I have worked with several Action Cams now and I can say it is a quality stabilization unit. Enjoy it.
