Processing only first ten seconds of Raw Red File

Hi All,

First post, just need some help seeing if what we want to do is possible.

11 clips were shot on RED.
We don't have the time or the budget to process the entire clips, as they are several minutes long. We just need the first ten seconds of each clip processed
to DNxHD 1080i so that it can import quickly into our Avid Media Composer 3.1.1.

Any and all help, from mention of programs needed to processes as soon as possible, would be greatly appreciated.
