    Michael, have you tested the speeds of MF running in Windows vs. Wine environment? I know that Wine FAQ says that there is no degradation in speed but aside from using it in Debian for some odds and ends I never sat down to clock any speeds.

    What about the stability?

    Given that a command line version of metafuze is coming, a native Linux version would be very much appreciated for use on headless Linux render nodes.

    I have not done any tests under WINE myself, but will check into it.
