I know a British grip who resigned from a Big TV job in the UK when the DoP insisted on carrying an office chair on the grip truck as he felt the use of such 'amateur technology' demeaned his professional stature.
It worked for the DoP... not for the dolly grip.

That rolling gardening seat would have been great if I had taken a second job working on an orchid farm. (I was thinking about it, but didn't take the job.) It would work great as a dolly too. Thanks.
