How to salvage really noisy footage

Hi,

I've just written a short article with image examples detailing how I reduced noise in RED footage shot under orange-gelled Tungsten light... Short version: Play around with the color settings until the noise is reduced. Long version: www.icolor.no (in the 'News' section). Any tips on how to improve the footage further would be greatly appreciated.

Color Balance, Contrast, Saturation and sharpening helps too. :)

Just to clarify: This was my output from RedCine but I'm obviously grading it in Color afterwards - the goal was to get the least amount of noise to begin with :-)
