I know and use the the Crimson workflow on all my projects.
Edit in FCP at any ProRes or DV codec > Crimson workflow > RedCine with 1light > FCP > Color > FCP export out.
Been pretty happy with it.

So if you know that workflow and the CS4 workflow I would really like to hear from you guys.
Here is my situation.
I just recently joined a Feature length movie which is 100% based greenscreen every single shot will contain 3D and 2D animation backgrounds ect.
The 3D dept, is working in CS4 After Effects for the composting and implementing the Maya footage.
CS4 has become very seamless going between Premiere Pro and After Effects.
The programs pull from the R3D with no problems edit in Premiere in lowres allow you to send to After Effects do all the composting, send back to Premiere bouncing back and fourth with real time updates. This feature is so powerful I have to consider doing this entire movie in CS4.

My question is to those of you who have used this workflow before.

What are your experiences, issues, any gotchas and overall opinions on going with strictly the CS4 workflow using apple MAC computers only.

Thanks
Luis
