  1. #1 redline 3.57 bug dvcprohd
when outputting dvcprohd at 25fps from redline with 25fps shot red material
the resulting quicktime has the wrong information in the wrapper ie it says it is dvcprohd 720p 60 instead of 720p 50
this confuses ffmpeg when trying to strip out the raw .dv for wrapping into mxf.
    cheers

Why are you trying to get a DVCPRO MXF from RED footage?

  3. #3 dvcpro rules!!!!
    Hi cail!
over at avid workflow i'm working on something called jamfuze that takes R3D files and transcodes directly to avid mxf
dvcprohd i on of the flavours i've been asked for that's all!
that way you can edit on any old laptop avid and still be in 23.98 (dv seems to go to 29.97)
it all works ok for us in PAL land as the final online is 25fps and dv lets you do 25 also
but i was just thinking of the 23.98 people
i've already done dnxhd and that would be it if it was up to me!

    cheers

Can't you just set a framerate flag in ffmpeg? Or is redline adding frames to the output file?
