Musetex is coordinating a workshop at Apple Store Ginza (Tokyo) on June 5th about two very first RED ONE shot feature films, "Highkick Girl!" and "Raise the Castle!".

The directors from both films, Fuyuhiko Nishi from Highkick Girl!, Yo Kohatsu from Raise the Castle!, Takeshi Tsuji (DP from Raise the Castle!) and Kaku Ito (me) will be sharing the information from the production.

Rina Takeda, the heroine of the Highkick Girl! will be there to demonstrate the real Karate action with Nishi and Takashi Chiba/Musetex will be capturing the action to show the workflow of the production, along with Nishi's explanation of the concept for the film.

Yo Kohatsu, Takeshi Tsuji will be talking about how they chose RED ONEs for the shoot, sharing the stories about editing, color grading and film recording. I will be explaining about the Mac based workflow and Imagica's film recording service.

It's free to get in but we expect some crowd, so if you want to sit down, please come early. Show starts at 17:00pm.

Paul Leeming from Visceral Psyche will be there to help me showing the camera.

As Kaku said, we'll be on hand with one of our cameras to go through the actual production setup and workflow, before it hits post.

Anyone in Tokyo is more than welcome to come along and shoot the breeze with us ( and check out the camera if that sort of thing interests you!! )

....and yes, I'm aware of the irony of helping with the Apple event after showing off "The Monolith", but don't let that fool you! PC's forever!!

More info about us via the link in my sig, if you're interested.

    Cheers all!
