that's a little confusing but not entirely implausible. i've had the original zoom reserved since the day it was announced. i've always been told that transfer to the newer zoom would be no problem and it would be shipped as an accessory with the cam body but then again i did have the reservation. since good glass isn't machined and "mass-produced" in the same numbers as metalwork, hard drives and flash media are, i would suggest anyone put in their reservations for lenses and double-check in order to get them with their camera shipments or as soon as possible.Originally Posted by thinkbug
