I understand that the 50mm and up cover the full frame 35mm sensor and the 25mm and 35mm cover about 5.5K. Is the 5.5k at the 3:2 aspect or 16:9? If it is the 3:2, could the wider lenses hold up in full frame 16:9? 2.4:1? What happens at the corners, light fall off and/or loss of sharpness? Sorry for all the questions, just thinking about my options for FF35 Scarlet, it's my favorite

As tests will show... one of the best thing about RPPs is the way they hold resolution to the corners of a very large image circle. I need to check the charts to see just how far the image circle goes and answer your question on the wides, but you will be hard pressed to find a cinema lens that does better at 32mm image circle and above.

Jannard speaks the truth about their field quality.
The illumination and resolution in the field (32mm+) is one of the RPPs strong points.
This is where RPPs really shine against other pro cine lenses.
I'm sure someone at RED will correct me if I'm wrong, during testing I found these image circles for RPPs.

    25mm - 34mm dia.
    35mm - 36mm dia.
    50mm - 41mm dia.
    85mm - 43mm+dia.
    100mm - 43mm+dia.

Matthew... we concur with your observation (pretty much). There just aren't too many S35 cine lenses with this kind of coverage. They will do very well using a large part of the FF35 sensor.

Based on the 34mm image circle of the 25mm I'm thinking you can cover a 16:9 frame at 17x30mm or a 2.35 frame @ 13.6 x 32mm. A big chunk of sensor no matter how you slice it.

*that's letting the look-around area have a bit of vignetting, which is fine with me.

Rough science (depends on what light falloff is acceptable)
You posted whole numbers (which is perfectly fine).

    Pretty much... :-) No disagreement.

To be totally honest, that's the impressive part of the RPPs. There is no light falloff.
It's either illuminated or not. Like I said, RPPs display even illumination throughout the image circle.
