    Hi REDCORE,
Just thought it may be interesting to get some kind of demographic on the way we all plan to use RED. I've put together this small poll so we can all see the persuasion in general of REDCORE members. Now I know there are going to be those of you who cover a broad spectrum of products but I would ask you to vote once for the application which figures as your leading genre of production material.

    Cheers,
    Mark.

Voted HD-DVD/BluRay, but it's almost 50/50 split between that and stock footage.

I've voted for "Other", 'cause I primary intend to shoot shorts with it...

I voted "other" and like Dominque I intend to shoot shorts with it, but even moreover let others shoot short projects with it and my occasional feature project.
I know how to do it. You just wouldn't know it from the way I do it.

You're also missing promos and commercials!

Really, most pro/semi-pro users will be doing several if not all of the above. The only jobs I don't envisage using it for will be live relay feeds (equipment almost always supplied by rental) and news/eng (although with 16mm lenses, perhaps)...

I can´t vote given the alternatives...

    Commercials
    Musicvideos
    Corporate promotion videos
    Films (short and feature lenght)
and I beleive the RED will motivate me to go out and do a lot more stock shots than I do today...

Edit; I guess I should vote "other"

I voted for other because you forgot a choice -- "all of the above". Rally though, for me I'm planning commercials, VFX and I intend to start shooting some shorts too. I may go for some stock footage too and maybe a documentary.
