Thanks Obin. Very interesting. I think this kind of stuff, like auto focus, has a place in the future of movie making and that everyone who is afraid of it should understand that you would be able to turn it off if you don't want it! I think, under certain conditions, this kid of IS and an auto focus system where you can tell the camera what to focus on and when would be of enormous value on dramatic productions to just reduce the number of takes that go NG for technical reasons and leave take evaluation to be based on performance. Not for everyone and not for every time but invaluable when needed and appropriate.
