Paul, you shoot very beautifully composed and striking imagery. Lovely stuff.

I still have a short r3d from Red Relay, an off the shoulder walking shot of the Shibuya crossing at night that I still like to play with grading in Redcine-x. I believe it was an early one of yours with the Red.

    Thanks David!

Yeah, that Shibuya shot was one of the first things we ever shot on Red #378 over two years ago now if I remember correctly! Still going strong, it's never had a single failure (touch wood!) and is about to head back to its home on Lake Forest to get the new Mysterium-X sensor put in!

I guess I'll have to replicate the same shot and see how much better it is, then you can have a new benchmark with which to test

    Cheers!

We've updated our cameras to build 30.3.1 so you can be assured that you are running the latest and greatest colour science. There's a lot of new features and it's a new way to expose (simpler than ever but it IS different) but as always we are there to help you use it to its fullest advantage :)

If you need to shoot an earlier build (like 21.4.1) we can of course downgrade the cameras to suit.

    Cheers,

    Paul

I look forward to the M-X version. Really miss Red Relay. It was a great way for those of us waiting for Scarlets to dabble in the post work flow. Is there anything similar out there now?

    Regards

    David

Our M-X'ed Red One is back in Tokyo and will be ready to shoot inside the week! We will hold a couple of demonstration nights (gotta shoot low light after all!) so stay tuned for dates and times.

    Cheers,

Just posted a bunch of stills from the release version of "Script", a 30min short I DP'ed last year which finally finished editing:

http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=33032&page=2 (about half way down the page)

I'm currently in post-production for a short movie I directed recently called "The Lesson", after which I'll be launching into the final part of my robot trilogy entitled "Maria", which will be shot on Epics in 5K of course! :D

    Enjoy!
